I read somewhere that high chairs in restaurants have more germs then a public bathroom!!! We have been in situations where we haven't been able to use our own booster seat and these would have come in handy, so maybe I need to stock some in the diaper bag. You're not alone though, I can't stand the germs either!!!Ordinary Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04097349591385452530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2690935211287966710.post-29916969308151061002011-09-24T13:27:25.661-05:002011-09-24T13:27:25.661-05:00I love these! Now back to my commenting--

Our local Chick-fila gives these mats out, and I have been so tempted to ask them can I buy extras. Now I know where to buy them :-)championm2000https://www.blogger.com/profile/14867731446440889107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2690935211287966710.post-36605722445328571602011-09-24T08:38:22.288-05:002011-09-24T08:38:22.288-05:00Oh, I love this post on so many levels!!! :)
You...Oh, I love this post on so many levels!!! :)

You know that I, too, am quite the germophobe...I'm sure I would have had the exact same reaction to that picture on FB! HA!

We also used those place mats and loved them. (We found non-licensed ones [dinosaurs!] at Toys R Us...you know I have an aversion to "princess", too!)

Over the past 6 or 8 months, our girls have been able to eat from plates, so we haven't had to fuss with the place mats. It's just another level of freedom. Hallelujah! :) We do wipe the table down with our wipes as we're getting seated. And we must repeat at least 10 times, "If something falls on the table, don't pick it up; Mommy or Daddy will clean it."

There are, of course, times when the girls will drop a piece of food and pick it up before I can get there...I just have to turn my head and take a deep breath. So far, we haven't contracted any horrific diseases...and I'm hoping for continued good fate. :)

[I'll be linking up tomorrow!]MandyE (Twin Trials and Triumphs)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02510155408149227364noreply@blogger.com
