Encouragement for You

"Mama-ing," as sweet Julia calls it, can be exhausting and often very isolating.  So I'm hijacking Julia's blog today (forgive me, sweet friend!) to let her know that she's doing a wonderful job.

All our girls together :)

Julia, I know that you're working hard with very few thank you from those little sanity-stealers angel-girls.  I know how you fight momma guilt and bitterness and try to pour yourself out as a sacrifice.  I know how hard you pray and how many sleepless nights you put in.

I just wanted to know that it matters to God.  It matters to me.  It encourages me.

And that's all I wanted to say.

(Oh, yeah... and I love you, sweet friend!)

What a wonderful message...and what a wonderful friend you have!

And for the record, you encourage me, too, Sweet Julia, in so many ways. :)

You're a great friend and an example of what we mamas need to do for each other more often

Oh, sweet friend, thank you! This is so encouraging to me! You have no idea.

I've felt lonely this week. I've felt like I've done a bad job as a wife, as a mama, as a friend.

Bless you. Bless you for taking a moment to encourage me.

Love you!

Me too, Julia... me too. I spent an hour crying trying to get dinner ready while Sedryn screamed unconsolable and little girls ripped the whole house to shreds trying to get attention from me. Not a pretty moment.

I thought: Surely, I'm not the only one who feels this way. Figured we all could use some specific encouragement... not just me ;)
