Sunflowers: Way Back When-esday

I love the sunflowers in our garden! It never ceases to amaze me at how huge they are!

Each night (as long as it's not 105 or -5 degrees outside), we take the girls for a walk through our garden. We've made that part of our bedtime routine since the girls were only a few months old.

Last year we took this picture of Hadley in the garden:

A few nights ago we took this picture of Hadley:

It's so fun to see how much has changed in a year!

Thank you to Cheryl for hosting Way Back When-esday, who reminds me to savor the present, look on the past with joy, and to be thankful for the journey.

Oh Julia, how incredibly precious! It's hard to be sunnier than a sunflower, but I daresay your little beauty accomplishes it! :)

What a wonderful Way Back When-esday...thank you so much for linking up and playing along!

Hope you will often!

Your sunflowers are lovely, as is sweet Hadley! It amazes me how much babies change over the course of a year. They grow so fast.

I love that you make walking in the garden a part of bedtime. What a peaceful way to close out the day!

Visiting from the WBW link up! What a sweet way to see how much your little Hadley has grown in a year. I am sure she'll look back on your pre-bed time walks fondly.

Oh that sunflower was huge. Or was Hadley just so small...Both are beautiful.

PS_ Haven't forgotten about Mama Loves--will hopefully get to it tonight!

I love that you take a walk through your garden in the evenings...how wonderful! :)

And of course I love the pictures. You probably know I'm a sucker for then-and-now comparisons. :)

Whoa, tell your gardener to keep the miracle grow to the plants. What's up with these babies we have insisting on getting old so fast. Don't they realize the bigger they get the less we can do? Who want to cook their own meals? Silly babies.
