Really, they just love trucks. They point out trucks in books, and I'm pretty sure that Wednesday is their favorite day of the week, because it's trash day. This means that recycling truck, garbage truck and the lawn refuse truck all thunder past our house in grand fashion, giving our girls quite a show!
All this extreme heat we've been having has kept us mostly indoors. Talk about cabin fever! One day last week, I decided we'd go to the toy store in town to look for some toy trucks for the girls to play with. They loved it!
Hadley and Brynne each chose a dump truck. It's so funny to see how the trucks they chose reflect their personalities!

Do you have the Golden Book, The Happy Man and His Dump Truck? It's one of our girls' favorites...a big dump truck and a lot of farm animals...bliss! :)

Redesign looks great! Love that store, btw. We make the trip just to go there every now and then. The one near us doesn't even compare - plus they don't let you play with the toys like that one does. What type of toy store doesn't let you play?? :)
